Gullo Construction, Inc., was established in April 1982, building homes in Houston and surrounding areas. We built homes on a speculative basis as well custom homes for our Customers. However, like most things in life - "things change" - and due to the slumping general economy in the mid-1980s, we stopped building homes and began remodeling homes. Remodeling proved to be much more rewarding. Many of our Customers loved where they live and their neighborhoods but their homes and decor had become out dated. Being a full service residential general Contractor we can assist in adding a room, redecorating, remodeling your kitchen or bath, adding that covered patio you always wanted or just replace your exterior siding, we can do it all. Also, if you're considering purchasing a used home that will need updating and need approximate costs before you move forward, then we can help with that as well.
In this day and age it's very important to be familiar with current local, state, and federal building codes. That's why we're members of the Greater Houston Builders Association, the Texas Association of Builders, and the National Association of Home Builders—we also sit on the Building Board of Adjustments and Appeals for the City of Jersey Village, Texas. When we started our business several years ago, you could build an entire home with five to six pages of plans and specifications; today a simply room addition might require as many as 15 pages of plans, including engineered drawings and documentation in order to get a building permit. The same also holds true for the inspection process. That is why it's important to have a contractor that's knowledgeable about current building codes and energy codes as well as laws dealing with lead-based paint.
You have probably heard the old saying " Don't Sweat the Details" well that IS NOT our philosophy. The details are important to us and that is why we make it a point to cover your furniture, flooring and try to keep your home as clean as possible. Furthermore, the owner of Gullo Construction, Frank Gullo, Jr., will personally supervise the project from start to finish.
We've built our business on referrals and repeat business from past clients, which is a telling sign of customer satisfaction. Give us a call and let us earn your business.
